With the help of GTC Design, Trust Restaurant Group has officially opened its second Rare Society in the Cedros Design District of Solana Beach. The second coming of Rare Society presents guests with a more glamorous, Vegas-inspired experience when dining in the new captivating space. The motivation for this neighborhood steakhouse comes from Brad Wise’s long-term dream of experiencing dining in a big, fancy steakhouse as he discussed in an interview with San Diego Magazine. Rare Society infuses expertise in woodfire cooking to create noteworthy and affordable steaks and dishes that flaunt Wise’s unique and personal style of cooking. Guests can enjoy ordering extravagantly by indulging in a large well-seasoned steak or can order down and enjoy a meat board, which includes a variety of cuts of steak and meats that are perfect for a light nibble or to share with a group.
In Wise’s interview with San Diego Magazine, he stated “the whole idea is to do simple things but execute them well”. Incorporating simplistic yet flavorful dishes allows guests to enjoy high-quality meals without having to break the bank. Wise’s mission is to make fine dining accessible to all. Rare Society prides itself on excellent side dishes in order to match the fabulous quality of main courses. Brad and the Rare Society cooks engage in a competition daily implementing their own special spin to a side dish to keep the menu dynamic and exciting.

While dining, enjoy the gold and black theme of the Vegas-styled restaurant which hones in on specific design details, such as the polished walnut tables tops, mirrored and amber cast-pillars, and its low golden ceiling all of which tie the lavish atmosphere of the restaurant together. The restaurant offers, “Table 99”, a table inlaid with gold coins and a view of the kitchen where the art of woodfire cooking can be observed. Table 99 offers guests a high roller vibe and creates a perfect and elegant steakhouse dining experience.
